Persian Kazvin
This lovely Kazvin dates from the 1930s. The floral sprays show the influence of both French design and the American Sarouk as it was exported beginning in about 1915. At 70-80 years of age the rug is in perfect condition not in small part owing to the excellent materials and craftsmanship typical of these pieces before World War II.
