Sarouk with Floral Spray Motifs
The design of this navy Sarouk is typical of thousands of rugs from the village of Sarouk which were imported into the US in the first two quarters of the 20th century. The vast majority of these rugs were red. India has recently revived production of this design and this blue scatter rug is an excellent example of the contemporary version of this fine, old Persian design.Back |
