Trade In Policy
V. George Rustigian Rugs, Inc.will accept the return for FULL DOLLAR VALUE of all undamaged merchandise ofmint appearance(including fringe) purchased at the store, subject to reasonable conditions of resalability as determined by the proprietorship, for a new, hand-made Oriental or Karastan area rug currently in stock (excluding merchandise in the store on a consignment basis), such selection(s) being of greater or equal value to each original purchase. Some exceptions may apply.Sale discounts do not apply to trade-in purchases. All exchanges are subject to a one hundred fifty dollar ($150.00) restocking fee per rug in addition to normal cleaning and minor repair charges consistent with our current service rates. Proof of Purchase (original invoice or copy thereof) required. No merchandise credit shall be applied to applicable Sales Taxes incurred at the time of trade-in. Payment for sales taxes relative to the exchange transaction is the sole responsibility of the customer not V. George Rustigian Rugs and will be billed accordingly. Rustigian Rugs does not issue merchandise credit for returns where there is no actual trade-in made or contemplated. Rustigian Rugs will, however, endeavor to sell customer merchandise on a consignment basis where appropriate arrangements are made. Any credit balances resulting from approved exceptions in actual trades are subject to the same terms, enumerated in this policy, in future store transactions. Please note: * We do not accept flatwoven rugs for trade-in. These include but are not limited to needlepoints, dhurries, tapestries, sumacs and kilims.The provisions of this policy are subject to change without notice. |
