Tibetan, modern and transitional Carpet Designs

While most oriental carpets will gracefully fit into settings ranging from traditional to modern, many consumers prefer a more contemporary mood in an area rug. Many classic Tibetan or Nepalese carpet designs are relatively uncomplicated in look. Others are purposefully modern or have been reinterpreted from the classic Persian format into a new level of refined simplicity. Similar trends can be seen in the imports from many of the modern, rug producing countries. As China embraced the Art Deco movement, so now do more innovative importers contract for post modern, art nouveau and even computer generated designs from Pakistan, India and Turkey.
